Las Vegas is the home to the largest and probably, the most dominant casinos in the world. Many say that the “center” of entertainment in Las Vegas is the 4-mile strip. The Strip is where the largest hotels, casinos and resort properties in the world can be found. Also, 18 of the world’s 25 largest hotels (by room count) are on the Strip.
The crazy thing to do: Almost every person trying to visit Las Vegas, decided to do so because of the casinos. We know you want to go here too to gamble. The craziest thing to do is to save money everyday before your planned trip. Sound’s impossible? No. Just think that in your vacation, you’ll be cruising a 4-mile strip of casinos!
One of the best things about casino-hopping in the Strip is that, transportation isn’t hard. There are shuttles offering services for casino goers. Some of the shuttles have a policy requiring a room key from an affiliated casino.
Here is a list of the shuttle rides according to Going to Vegas!:
Between Harrah’s Las Vegas and the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino.
Between Sam’s Town and Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and Saloon, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Riviera Hotel, and Tropicana Resort & Casino.
- Between Caesars Palace and the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino.
- Between Paris/Bally’s and the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino.
- Between Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (Las Vegas) and the MGM Grand.
- Between Wynn Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention Center Monorail Stop.
- Between South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa and Mandalay Bay.
Another crazy thing to do: If you really want to enjoy the Strip, why not drop the shuttles and walk. Several Strip hotels have undertaken efforts to make the street more pedestrian-friendly by redesigning their facades. Also, several footbridges have been installed to help pedestrians safely traverse the road.
